Amazon has many reviewers and the top 10 is a contested place. Reviews by people in the top 10, top 50, top 100 are a major asset to sales. One such reviewer (top 10) just gave A history of the Internet and the digital future a 5 star review.
At Last! A Comprehensive and Comprehensible Book About THE INTERNET
By Grady Harp (Los Angeles, CA United States)
The review is rather rushed, but here are the parts I liked.
… The beauty of this book is just how accessible it is. … At the same time that he addresses issues and shares facts in language easily digested, he simultaneously offers information to the more advanced computer geeks…
…But where Johnny Ryan really shines is his ability to inform us as to the strengths and weaknesses of this new generation of information transfer…
…at the same time instead of raging about the evils of the computer so popular with other writers, he offers the possibilities of the Internet and www communication that to this reader at least seems like an invitation to global understanding of all cultures, all peoples.
…Highly Recommended for everyone.
Good news.
Many congratulations Johnny. I hope the sales are equally impressive – it will be your round in The Harp is so!
Thanks James – I hope you’re doing well!
